JAMES DOMINATES FIRST EVENT

Nathan James has graduated from the Club100 karting championship to come and race cars, and the OT Coupe Cup with Toyo Tires field certainly knew about it. For the third season coming, Cursley Motorsport seem to have pulled a real talent out of their hat; 2024 saw Dan Munro jump into the white and black car and dominate the season, scoring 8 victories and 2 second place finishes in his only season in the Coupe Cup. Dan has since gone on to race classic Minis in the Mini Se7en Challenge. Then there was Nathan Williams in 2025; another debutant, this time from a Sim Racing background. He dominated the E-Coupe Cup in 2024 and was invited to Castle Combe to have a look around the paddock and talk to the teams, and he rest was history; 7 race wins, 2 second places and 2 third places. He now races in the UK Legends Championship.

So, big boots to fill then for Nathan James; well it would seem that Cursley Motorsport's driver choice is spot on; in his first ever official session in a race car, Nathan put the car on pole position ahead of favourites Ben Wilkinson and Hazem Zaki, for Race One at Donington Park. Not only did he take pole position, he also fought his way back from fourth after having a poor start and won both races! Unbelievable from performance from the young debutant. He managed to overcome pressure from behind, and make sure he made no mistakes to start his campaign in the best way! Will Nathan triumph at the tricky and technical Oulton Park circuit?
